The Story Wear logo conveys the idea of “sweet memories, capturing a moment in time to write an era,” inspired by hibiscus petals collecting nectar in childhood, incorporating the four elements as a creative starting point.
[Fraying Technique]
The threads along the fabric edges are painstakingly pulled out by hand, a process far more time-consuming than it appears.
Before fraying, the fabric is carefully aligned and smoothed along the grain to ensure precision. After pulling the threads, any uneven strands are trimmed to achieve the best aesthetic.
Because the warp and weft threads are interwoven with blue and white, the frayed edges highlight a subtle color contrast, which is a key design feature of this piece.
